Courage&Conquest, or MHTCE? Or____?

Starting in January, we are going to take one semester for Canadian history (between finishing Core C and starting D in fall 2016). I'm seeing several options and my personality makes me want to try them all! But we only have 5 months so I don't want to be overwhelmed either. I'd love suggestions, and the inside scoop from the experienced.

I will be teaching my two boys, who will by 10 and 8 (with a 4 year old sister tagging along). What are some difference between Donna Ward's Courage and Conquest (the bundles look very appealing!), and Modern History Through Canadian Eyes? Are there other such similar guides/bundles out there?

This site http://www.solidoakpublishing.com/Resource%20Lists.htm  links another site that supposedly has a MHTCE bundle, but I'm not seeing it on there

http://www.canadianhomeeducation.com/category/2315-bundles.aspx?timeline=77548

If we went with the C&C bundle, how long might it take us? The website doesn't say

I am also wonder about these books, and how they compare, and if they could be added to C&C or if that would be redundant or too much to get through:
My First History of Canada

The Spirit of Canada

The Story of Canada

I know I asked a lot of questions, thanks in advance!

Of all of those, I only have The Story of Canada, which could work well for those ages, I think. Scholastic had the set in their book clubs for $10 in spring, though I had already bought it for $20 a few months before.

Considering the ages of your children, My First History of Canada is a perfect fit to be used as your main history spine.  This book has comprehension questions at the back of the book for each chapter.
